Acoustic Soul Father's Day -- Sunday, June 17 •10a-5p • Mix it up a little for Father's Day this year and bring Dad and the whole darn clan to the vineyard to celebrate. Ourfriend David Hecht has promised to share his famous 'Acoustic Soul' music and good humor from noon - 4 p.m. and provide the background for a fabulous day of family and fun. Free admission. Pack a picnic, load the croquet set and the frisbee and leave your worries on the doorstep for a day. Life is for living while we're here to enjoy it. 17th Annual Vintage Celebration -- Sunday, August 12, 2012;10:30a-5p • This is a day when the vineyard grounds are transformed to paddocks overflowing with beauty, inspiration, art, design, history and rich stories of people and automobiles. More than 150 vintage and rare sports cars, racecars and touring sedans will fill two paddocks against the lush vineyard backdrop, just at the height of the growing season.The 2012 featured marque is Cadillac. Live music by Primitive Culture begins at 11 a.m., and outdoor wine service and picnic food will be available throughout the day. Adult admission is $10; children under 12 are admitted free with a parent or guardian. One hundred percent of the competition vehicle entry fees and a portion of the day's proceeds will benefit the Iowa County Humane Society, a no-kill shelter located in Dodgeville, Wisconsin.
