A departure from our estate-grown reds, 8180 is a blend of California-grown Zinfandel and Carmenere produced here, in our signature Wisconsin style. Warm and inviting, this dry red opens as a soft symphony of flavor that crescendos to a burst of rich berry with notes of black cardamom and pepper, easing to a rich and graceful finish.
Pair 8180 with full-flavor cheeses, like blue, gruyere and 5-year cheddar, cured meats and pecans. It’s a genial companion by the fire, a welcome letter from an old friend; comforting as the last turn for home.
